Mini Road Trip

Tuesday afternoon Tyler and I headed North towards Sacramento for his sister Amanda's high school graduation.

We both love a good road trip.... even if it is only 6 or 7 hours each way. Driving through central California isn't the most exciting drive (not at all, actually), but just being in the car with the windows down, singing loud knowing your going to a celebration makes it better! (Do you like my polka dot glasses? Tyler chose them.)

Derby Days and Freeways

Let me tell you.... I was a big loser on Saturday!! I have been to the horse races before but it was before I was able to bet. Not to say that I didn't, haha, but I had no idea what I was doing, which is a huge part of the fun! Not that I'm an expert by any means, but I at least knew what the bets meant this time.  Hopefully we make more trips to the track so I can keep learning. Lets hope for less losing, though.
